I&#039;m the SQL developer that wrote the %%physloc%% infrastructure.  Please keep in mind that the virtual column only returns correct results when you force a scan of a specific index.  You may find that, depending on the plan, you get the location of the base table row or the NC index row.  Force the index and you can get the correct results.
